Oculus

Oculus Private · for ISPs & service providers

Your own hotspot platform,
under your own name.

We deploy the entire Oculus platform for your network — the console, captive portals, RADIUS, billing and docs — so you can sell managed hotspot billing to your customers as your service, on your domain and your terms.

Your platform

  • console.yourbrand.net Admin & platform console
  • *.yourbrand.net A login page per customer
  • radius.yourbrand.net RadSec for every router
  • docs.yourbrand.net Help for your customers

Your plans · your prices · your invoices

Why providers run their own

A product for your customers, not a login on ours.

Your brand, end to end

Your name and logo on the console, login pages, emails, receipts and invoices. Your customers never need to hear of Oculus.

Your customers, your pricing

The platform console lets you create your own plans and allowances, sign customers up, and invoice them every month — collected through your own payment gateway.

Your data, where you want it

A dedicated database for your deployment only, hosted in the region you choose or in your own data centre — useful where regulators care where subscriber data lives.

Built for scale on day one

Split authentication and admin paths, per-tenant row-level security in Postgres, and routers that poll out — no VPN fleet to run.

Hosting options

Two ways to run it. The same platform either way.

On your infrastructure

Installed on your own servers or cloud account, for providers with their own operations team or strict data-residency rules.

  • Installed, configured and branded by us
  • Your team trained to operate and upgrade it
  • Release updates with upgrade notes
  • Support agreement sized to your network

Included in every deployment

  • Admin console for your customers
  • Platform console for your staff
  • Captive portals with online payment
  • Central RADIUS over RadSec
  • Vouchers by SMS, email and print
  • Client billing for your customers' venues
  • Reports and CSV exports
  • Customer documentation site

How it works

From first call to your first customer.

  1. Discovery

We learn about your network, your customers and how you want to sell.

  2. Proposal

Sizing, hosting choice, branding scope and pricing, in writing.

  3. Deploy & brand

Your instance goes up on your domain, in your colours, with your plans.

  4. Launch

Your team is trained and your first customers are onboarded with you.

  5. Ongoing

Updates, support and new features, for as long as you run it.

Running it yourself? You'll need

  • A Linux server with Docker, or a cloud account
  • PostgreSQL and Redis — bundled, or your own
  • A domain with wildcard DNS and a TLS certificate
  • Public TCP 2083 open for RadSec from your routers

Tell us about your network.

A few details help us come back with something specific. Someone from our team — not a mailing list — will reply within two working days.

Can we start on the shared platform and move later?
Yes. You can prove the market on a normal account first and move to your own deployment when you're ready.
Do our customers' routers need anything special?
No — the same RouterOS 7.10+ and one onboarding script, pointing at your domain instead of ours.
Who owns the customer relationship?
You do. Your customers sign up with you, pay you and get support from you.
Where should it run?

We reply within two working days. No mailing lists.
